Fellowship Lecture: Thomas A. Kligerman

Architect Thomas A. Kligerman discusses the varied range of design influences on the work of Ike Kligerman Barkley. The firm’s houses are a synthesis of traditional and contemporary American building types that span North America. Through massing, materials and detail, Tom reveals how IKB endeavors to move the needle, while paying homage to the rich canon of American architectural precedent.

Tom will review American Shingle Style architecture and share ideas on Additive vs Subtractive architectural philosophy. He’ll also discuss contemporary architecture in a historical context and the Architecture of Ike Kligerman Barkley.
